Project Description
|
This sectoral network intends to build a platform that will enable entrepreneurs and knowledge intensive service ventures of high growth potential to seize market opportunities in the field of satellite downstream applications:
- Assessing the research, skills and knowledge needs of KIS ventures in the field of satellite based applications;
- Fostering technological and non-technological innovations, taking into account the dynamic interconnections between research, entrepreneurship. finance and clusters;
- Building the KIS4SAT innovation platform where SMEs and entrepreneurs can find the business support packages they need to develop critical mass offers and to accelerate their growth processes;
- Test and inporve such a platform with at least 250 high growth KIS ventures and innovation intermediaries;
- Formulating exist strategies through the implementation of innovation vouchers with regional clusters and incubators

Role of INI-Novation
|
- Management skills and training schemes – assess the existing and the required management skills of KIS SMEs and entrepreneurs, as well the currently existing management training and qualification schemes.
- Training about the use of Support Packages – design modular qualification and training programmes to select and support potential high-growth KIS SMEs as well as incubators and other intermediaries at penetrating and successfully acting in the market with broader economic view.
- Innovation vouchers - supporting SMEs with high growth potential through coaching services

Results
|
The project has a database of over 500+ SMEs connected online to the KIS4SAT platform, of which 150* have received direct or indirect support via KIS4SAT services and tools. KIS4SAT issued around 200 vouchers to companies and 100+ received KIS4SAT business support packages. INI-Novation GmbH issued more than 30 vouchers as support for KIS companies from all over Europe, making the company one of the most suvvessfull partners in the project.
